A Frustrating and Counter-Intuitive Experience I approached Trackdesk with high expectations, given the company’s positioning as an accessible and user-friendly affiliate platform. Unfortunately, the reality falls far short of the promise. The feature set is surprisingly limited. Basic functionality like 2 currencies requires upgrading to paid tier, which makes the entry-level plan feel more like a teaser than a usable product. What is marketed as accessible turns out to be quite the opposite. The onboarding process was unnecessarily complex, and at no point did the team provide meaningful support. For a platform aimed at simplifying affiliate management, the experience felt anything but welcoming. The most concerning aspect, however, is the cancellation process. It is designed in a way that feels intentionally obstructive. To cancel, you are asked to book a call for 2 months free. Once you click, your cancellation progress is wiped, forcing you to restart the process, yet the system simultaneously prevents you from booking the very call required to proceed. The contradiction is not accidental. It is psychological friction. On top of that, there are more than necessarily long cancelation steps to go through. Once you're tired, and have "restarted over", you are asked required to delete all of your data before the subscription can be terminated. So this adds an additional layer of hesitation, as users are forced to verify every data point before proceeding. It feels less like a service and more like a retention trap. A platform should earn loyalty through product value and not through complexity, confusion, and administrative hurdles. Until the company reconsiders its UX choices and prioritizes user respect over retention tricks, I cannot recommend it. We wer just gonna leave for a short period, to rebuild our system. The experience prompted this review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
